After completing medical school. the next step is residency which is also called training. After medical school people are called doctors. The residency depend on different majors, if someone wants to be surgical then residency will take more than 3 years. In general pediatrician's residency only take 3 years. people become more responsible during their residency. In their training people deal with sick patients, and they become emotionally strong.
