The good side is after spending thousands of dollars pediatricians get good pay. Pediatricians always get paid during residency. They get $ 40,000 - 55, 000 a year. Pediatricians start getting paid $125,000- $150, 000. after residency. Their income depends on their work if someone is working part time they get paid $80,000 a year. The full time doctor get paid $360,000 a year.

Becoming a pediatrician is not a cheap or easy task. Beyond the monetary expenses one will sacrifice so much more like time, family functions, and socializing. But those sacrifices will be greatly rewarded in the field. You seem to have a plan and know what you want.
